A Foodie Day Out with ESPC at Fringe by the Sea – North Berwick – Friday 9th August 


Fringe by the Sea in North Berwick starts this week and this Friday (9th August) features a great

foodie spread. This year the Baby Spiegeltent turns itself over to the culinary arts for the day. where talks

and demonstrations and taste bud tingling await!

Lovely sponsors ESPC will choose two lucky winners who will win two pairs of tickets each to the day’s events which include:

1. Jo Macsween- 12pm: Think you know haggis? What about Macsween haggis tattie scones,

Macsween haggis on toast with beans – or Macsween vegetarian haggis nachos? Jo

Macsween, the driving force behind global brand Macsween Haggis, shares all sorts of tips

and tricks and cooks up some treats from her Macsween Haggis Bible.

2. Chris Trotter- 2pm: Fife’s Food Ambassador is an honorary title bestowed on Chris Trotter

because of his passion for food in the Kingdom. Find out what Chris has to say about all

things foodie after Jo Macsween leaves the stage!

3. Neil Forbes 4pm: Neil Forbes of Edinburgh’s Café St Honore is an avid promoter of Scottish

produce. He’ll be bringing along some wonderful Isle of Mull scallops, heritage potatoes and

bacon that he makes in his restaurant to create a yummy meal along with some berrylicious

ingredients to make a glorious summer pudding!

There may be a couple of surprises too…


Tickets are £10 each per session but 2 lucky winners and their +1 will win free entrance into all three

Prize Draw Rules
1. Entry to the competitions is restricted to one entry per person please.
2. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
3. Automated entries, bulk entries or third party entries will be disqualified!
4. Competitions are open to UK residents only unless otherwise stated
5. Prizes will be made available for collection at the venue on the day
6. Winners will be chosen at random from all valid entries.
7. Winners will be contacted via email.
8. The Judges decision is final and no correspondance will be entered in to.
9. The competition will run until 09.00 on Thurs 8th August 2013 and the winners will be randomly selected thereafter.
10. ESPC is compliant with the data protection act. Our policy is such that we will not pass on your details to any third party without your prior consent.
