The Sun Inn’s Seafood Festival 27th April-2nd May

I’ve hard lots of great reports about the food at the Sun Inn and bizarrely it’s not that far from where I now live so think this could be the perfect excuse for me to go and try it out for myself!

The festival was first launched two years ago after Chef owner Ian Minto went on a trip to Applecross with his friends and went out on a fishing boat for the day. It was the hardest day he’d ever had to do in difficult conditions but very rewarding. They caught a lot of shellfish and it was the best he’d ever seen so he brought back a haul of seafood to put on at the Sun Inn to show people how good the fish and shellfish that have landed on our shores really is.
